Good News!!
We had a meeting today with the doctors on the Bone Marrow Team and they have decided that Jaylee is doing well enough to GO HOME!! (Jack and Annie's house) until it is time to do the transplant! She still has a virus in her blood and stool that we are working on getting rid of before we go through with the transplant. She has two weeks left of anti viral meds and then they want to wait about a week to make sure it is all cleared up. We will still have to be extremely careful about washing our hands and staying very clean and healthy but we are so excited to be leaving the hospital!!!

ReplyDeleteThat is great news! Jaylee is looking so much better now. I can see her cute grandma Julie's face when she smiles. What a little doll she is. I am a friend of your moms and we are all so grateful Jaylee is doing better. Your whole family has very much been in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteI just love Julie...it feels like a we have been friends for years, even though we haven't. She has made Bunko so much fun. We are all grateful you have done a blog so we can keep up on Jaylee's progress....I bet all the nurses and doctors just melt when they get Jaylee to smile at them! Glad you can go home to your sisters for a while. It will be a nice break for all of you.
